Kaseya, Ninite announce OEM relationship
Centralised application deployment and update.
[San Jose, California, 1 June 2011] -
Kaseya, the leading global provider of automated IT systems management software, today announced an OEM relationship with Ninite, a San Francisco-based company which automates software installation for 89 popular third-party applications, including Adobe Reader, Firefox, Flash, Java, and Skype.
The combined solution will provide Kaseya customers a powerful policy-driven solution to easily deploy, patch and update applications on systems across a distributed network.
"We're excited to work with Kaseya to make the Ninite application deployment technology available to users of Kaseya's systems management software. It's a great natural fit and will offer an unparalleled ease of third-party application deployment and update,” said Sascha Kuzins, Co-Founder of Ninite.
As part of its overall strategy for automated and policy-driven IT systems management, Kaseya will embed the Ninite technology within a new module that will be available to its on-premises and SaaS customers later this year.
“As soon as we saw the Ninite solution, we knew it would be a perfect fit for our customers' needs,” said Jim Alves, Executive Vice-President at Kaseya. “By wrapping the Ninite technology within our framework, we will be able to provide our customers with comprehensive functionality for consistent and secure deployment of their applications, all from a single pane of glass.”
